How Our CS2 Predictions Work
Every prediction comes from our own model, built on 24,871 professional matches. On 7,462 of them that it had never seen, it picked the winner 65% of the time and was well calibrated: when it says 70%, teams win about 70%. We show that number next to CSGOEmpire's price, and we back a side only when we disagree with the price by more than the bookmaker's margin.
We used to publish a figure here claiming the bookmaker favourite wins 82% of the time. That number was wrongand we have removed it — it came from odds our archive had recorded after each match had finished, so the “favourite” was often just the team that had already won. The full correction is on our accuracy page, along with what we do and do not claim. Anyone telling you they beat the bookmaker should show you a tracked record; ours is public, graded at match start, and we will publish a profit figure only when it is big enough to mean something.
Around that number we add what the odds can't show you: six-month form, round-level stats (T/CT side strength, pistol rounds), head-to-head history and lineup context, so you can judge each match yourself. What's on Every Match Page
Click into any fixture on the board and you get the full pre-match picture, generated fresh from live data: each team's map-pool record (per-map W–L, so you can anticipate the veto), pre-match line movement charted from our own odds observations, per-player K/D and damage over the last three months, tournament stakes, head-to-head history, and — for best-of-3s — a map-score forecast covering the ±1.5 handicap and over/under 2.5 maps. After the match, the page grades our call against the result, in public.

Frequently Asked Questions
How are these CS2 predictions made?
Every prediction comes from our own model, built on 24,871 professional CS2 matches. On 7,462 matches it had never seen it picked the winner 65% of the time and was well calibrated — when it says 70%, teams win about 70%. We show that probability next to CSGOEmpire’s price, and we recommend a bet only when we disagree with the price by more than the bookmaker’s margin. Six-month form, head-to-head and lineup context are shown alongside so you can judge each match yourself.
Are CS2 predictions reliable?
Our model is accurate and well calibrated on matches it has never seen — but that is not the same as beating the bookmaker, who also knows about stand-ins, roster changes and which teams are resting. We have never measured whether following our picks makes money, because the historical odds we had turned out to be recorded after each match finished. So we do not claim a profit: every pick is recorded before kick-off and graded in public, and we will publish a return only when the record is large enough to mean something. Treat predictions as analysis, never as guaranteed profit.
What do the percentages mean?
Each match shows two numbers: our model’s win probability, and the probability implied by the bookmaker’s price with its margin removed. A 70% means that side wins about seven times in ten — it does not mean the outcome is certain. Where the two numbers disagree, we split the difference before betting, because the bookmaker knows things our model cannot see.
Do you track your prediction accuracy?
Yes — every prediction is snapshotted at match start and graded automatically against the final result. The full record, methodology and our 2,131-match backtest are public on the accuracy page.
Where can I bet on CS2 matches?
Several sites we have reviewed offer esports betting on CS2 pro matches, including CSGOEmpire, 500 Casino and Duelbits. Always gamble responsibly — 18+, never stake more than you can afford to lose.
Do you predict map scores as well as winners?
Yes — for best-of-3s we forecast how the maps fall: the ±1.5 map handicap and over/under 2.5 maps. In our 13,619-match walk-forward backtest the confident calls hit 69% (handicap) and 66% (totals); the live record is graded in public on the accuracy page, and a map-market line becomes our pick only when it also beats the bookmaker price.
Where can I see one team's schedule, stats and roster?
Every team on our board has its own page — upcoming matches with predictions, recent results, six-month stats, map pool and current roster, updated automatically. Browse them all from the CS2 teams index.
