DatDrop Review 2026: Is DatDrop Legit and Safe?

Last updated September 21, 2026.

Pros

  • Running since 2016, which is longer than almost any case site we cover
  • DatDrop prints the drop odds on every case, so you know your chances before you open it
  • Every roll can be checked, and the battles use random.org tickets so the site cannot pick the winner
  • Battle Royale takes up to 72 players, and you can pick Safe Mode so you never leave with nothing
  • A simulator mode, so you can try every case for free before you spend anything

Cons

  • No roulette, crash, dice or slots. It is cases or nothing
  • Withdrawals are skins only, and you buy them from the WaxPeer market instead of taking your own back
  • Support is email only, with no live chat
  • You have to follow DatDrop on X to open the free daily cases

What is Datdrop?

DatDrop is one of the oldest CS2 case sites still running. It opened back in 2016, and it is run by a company in London. It is a case site and nothing else. You open cases, you battle other players over what drops, and you can upgrade a skin into a better one. There is no roulette, no crash and no slots, and that is on purpose. What we really like is that the drop odds sit right on every case, so you know exactly what you are paying for before you open it. Every roll can be checked afterwards, and the player versus player games even use random.org tickets, so nobody at DatDrop can pick the winner. Their Trustpilot rating is 4.2 out of 5 based on 1,786 reviews. Use code CS2WH for 5% extra on every deposit.

Is Datdrop safe?

Yes. DatDrop is run by Gameonomics LP, a company registered in London, and they put the company name, number and address on their contacts page. The site has been paying out since 2016, which is about as long as any case site has existed. The fairness system is the best part. Every case shows the drop odds for every skin in it, and every roll can be checked afterwards with your server seed. The player versus player games go one step further and use a random.org ticket for each game, so nobody at DatDrop can decide who wins. There are two things to keep in mind. Withdrawals are skins only, and you buy them from the WaxPeer market with the value of your inventory, so you do not get your own skins back. And support is email only, so a reply can take days. Most of the bad Trustpilot reviews are from players who lost and feel the odds are rigged. That is what the provably fair tool is for, so check your rolls if you doubt a drop. Their Trustpilot rating is 4.2 out of 5 based on 1,786 reviews.

Datdrop promo code CS2WH: how to claim it

  1. Click Claim Bonus on this page to open DatDrop through our link.
  2. Sign in with Steam.
  3. Check that CS2WH is in the promo code box before you deposit. The link normally fills it in for you.
  4. Deposit, and 5% extra is added to your balance. The bonus is capped at 250 per day.

How do you deposit on DatDrop?

You sign in with Steam and open the deposit page. The site runs in 19 languages, and the switcher sits in the footer. It has two tabs, Cash & Cards and Crypto & Skins. On the cash side you get Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, PaySafeCard and gift cards, and the list changes with your country. On the crypto side, Ethereum and Litecoin have a 0% fee. Bitcoin, USDT, USDC, BNB and XRP are there too, with more coins under View all. Be careful with the direct ETH option, as they say that sending on the wrong network loses the coins for good.

Skins do not go to a DatDrop bot. You deposit them through SkinPay, and the value lands on your balance. Gift cards work the same way, and you can buy one on Kinguin or Eneba. Put CS2WH in the promo box before you pay, and you get 5% extra, up to 250 a day.

How do you withdraw from DatDrop?

You withdraw in skins, and only in skins. It works differently from most sites, so here is how. The value of the skins in your DatDrop inventory becomes a budget. You go to the withdraw page, and on the left you see skins for sale on the WaxPeer market. You pick the ones you want within your budget, and they get sent to your Steam account. We tested it ourselves. We picked a skin from their market, and the trade offer arrived within 2 minutes.

That means you do not get your own skins back. You get skins of the same value from the market. You can only have one withdrawal open at a time, and if you close one halfway, the rest of the budget goes back to your inventory as skins. One thing to know. Under the new Steam rules a trade can be cancelled within 7 days, and if that happens the skin can be locked for a while. So do not panic if one shows as pending.

Does DatDrop require KYC?

Not to sign up, and not to withdraw either in our experience. You log in with Steam and that is it. Their agreement does say they can ask for ID documents and hold payments until you send them, so it can happen if something on your account looks wrong. However, there is no verification step you have to pass before you start.

How do you get free rewards on DatDrop?

The free daily cases are the main one, and they work on a level system. Your level depends on how much you have wagered. Level 1 needs 20, and level 5 needs 1,000, with a better free case at each step. At every level you choose between a low case and a high case. The catch is that your level drops by 50 every midnight UTC, so it rewards people who keep playing. You also have to follow DatDrop on X for at least 24 hours before it lets you open one.

There is a weekly race as well. It ranks players by how much they wagered that week, and the top 20 share a budget. The week we looked the budget was 7,500 coins, with 1,500 going to first place, and the counter on the page said 30,000 paid out in race rewards so far.

Next to that you earn DatPoints as you play, and you swap them for bonuses on the site. And every deposit with code CS2WH gets 5% extra. There is no rain and no rakeback here, as it is a case site rather than a casino.

Does DatDrop have roulette?

No. There is no DatDrop roulette, no crash, no dice and no slots. A lot of people search for it, so it is worth saying plainly. Everything on the site is built around cases, and they start at 0.25 coins. You can open them, battle over them, or upgrade what drops out of them. If you want a wheel next to your cases, Clash.gg has both on the same balance.

What are the DatDrop battle modes?

This is where DatDrop stands out, as they have more ways to battle than any site we cover. A normal Case Battle is 2 to 10 players opening the same cases, and the highest total wins the lot. Crazy mode flips it, so the lowest total wins. Equality mode splits the winnings evenly, Team Battles share it between the winning team, and Smoke mode decides between Classic and Crazy at the end. Terminal mode only counts the last round. Jackpot mode turns every drop into a chance to win, and a roulette spin picks the winner at the end. Squad Battles are the biggest team format, with up to 5 teams and 15 players playing for one prize pool.

Battle Royale is the big one. Up to 72 players are knocked out over 2 to 6 rounds, and winners carry their skins forward, taking the best skin from whoever they beat. You can pick Safe Mode, where everyone keeps their drops and gets a refund for the rounds they missed, or All or Nothing, where the last player standing takes everything. Then there is RPS, which is a case battle decided by rock paper scissors instead of drop value. If you want to try any of it first, the simulator mode lets you play every case for free.

How does the DatDrop upgrader work?

You pick a skin from your inventory, or use your balance instead, and then pick the skin you want to get. The page shows your upgrade chance before you roll. If you would rather not pick a target, there are fixed multipliers of 1.2x, 1.5x, 2x and 5x. Each roll is set to go under or over, and you can switch between the two.

How does provably fair work on DatDrop?

Every case puts its skins on a scale from 1 to 100,000, and each skin owns a range on it. When you open a case, a roll is generated, and you get the skin whose range it lands in. You can check any roll from your inventory with the Verify Roll button. The odds for every skin sit on the case page too, so you know your chances before you spend anything.

Every DatDrop battle gets its own random.org ticket, and the ticket can only be used once. DatDrop says it is impossible to prove a player versus player game fair without a third party, so they asked random.org to build a ticket system for them. That is not something we have seen on any other case site.

FAQ

Is DatDrop legit?

Yes. DatDrop is run by Gameonomics LP, a registered company in London, and it has been running since 2016. Every case shows its drop odds, and every roll can be checked afterwards, so you can make sure that none of your drops have been tampered with.

Is DatDrop safe?

Yes. The games are provably fair, the battles use random.org tickets, and the company behind the site is named on their contacts page. Watch out for fake DatDrop admins on Steam though. DatDrop has a whole scam alert page about accounts pretending to be staff or YouTubers. Their Trustpilot rating is 4.2 out of 5 based on 1,786 reviews.

What is the DatDrop promo code?

The DatDrop promo code is CS2WH. It gives you 5% extra on every deposit, up to 250 a day. Every DatDrop code gives the same 5%, so if you see a site promising 20% or more, it is not real.

Does DatDrop take US players?

Their terms only block countries on the US sanctions list (OFAC), and the US itself is not named anywhere in them. However, skin gambling is treated differently in every state, so check your own rules before you deposit.

How long do DatDrop withdrawals take?

Within 2 minutes in our test. We picked a skin from their market and had the Steam trade offer 2 minutes later. You withdraw in CS2 skins only. The value of your inventory becomes a budget, and you spend it on skins from the WaxPeer market. You can only have one withdrawal open at a time, and there is no cash or crypto payout.

Does DatDrop have roulette?

No. DatDrop has no roulette, no crash, no dice and no slots. It is a case site only. You open cases, battle other players, play battle royales and rock paper scissors, and upgrade skins. If you want a roulette wheel next to your cases, Clash.gg has both.

Is DatDrop rigged for YouTubers?

There is a Reddit thread asking this, so here is the answer. Every drop on DatDrop can be checked with the Verify Roll tool, and every battle is decided by a random.org ticket that DatDrop cannot pick. Their FAQ also says the DatDrop bots that fill empty battle slots are no different from a normal account. We have not found anything that shows otherwise.

Who owns DatDrop?

Gameonomics LP, a limited partnership registered in England in February 2025, with an address in Mayfair, London. It is on their contacts page and on Companies House.
