Howl.gg Review 2026: Is Howl.gg Legit and Safe?

How do you deposit on Howl.gg?

You open the wallet and pick skins, crypto, a gift card or a bank method. The skins part is what makes Howl.gg different. You can deposit CS2 skins, Rust skins and TF2 skins straight from Steam, and Howl.gg says they were the first site to let you play slots with Rust skins. For crypto you have 9 coins, from Bitcoin and Ethereum down to Tron and Ripple.

Gift cards are how PayPal, Google Pay and PaySafe work here. You buy a Howl.gg gift card with one of those, and then you redeem the code on the deposit page. The bank section has Swapped, a bank transfer at 0% fee, Visa and Mastercard, and it changes depending on the country you set.

How do you withdraw from Howl.gg?

You have to bet 100% of every deposit before you can withdraw. That is the rule most people search for, and it is the one to know. Their FAQ says it is there to stop people using Howl.gg to swap one currency for another, and their terms say they can raise it to 300% if they think that is what you are doing. So if you deposit $50 and change your mind, you cannot take that $50 straight back out.

Once you have wagered it, you have two ways out. Crypto goes out in the same 9 coins you can deposit with. Skins come from their marketplace, and CS2 skins go through a P2P marketplace where you buy from other players. There is no cash or card withdrawal at all. You also have to withdraw with the same method you deposited with, so if you put crypto in, you take crypto out. We have done it several times, in crypto and in all three kinds of skins, and every withdrawal landed within 2 to 5 minutes.

Does Howl.gg require KYC?

Not to sign up. You register with Steam, Google, Twitch or a wallet, and you confirm your email. After that it depends on what their checks make of you. They use a risk score, and if it goes up they can ask for an ID, a selfie with it, or proof of where your money came from. If you refuse, they can hold your balance and close the account.

Do not use a VPN unless you have done full verification and asked them in writing, as they freeze the whole balance if they spot one. And if anyone else in your house has a Howl.gg account on the same device or internet connection, you have to tell support within 14 days, or before your first withdrawal. Most of the angry Trustpilot reviews are about one of these two rules.

How do you get free rewards on Howl.gg?

There is a lot of it, and it is spread across a few places. Sign up through our link and you start with a free case that pays out between 10 and 500 free spins. After that you get rakeback on every bet you place. Once you have a VIP rank you get a daily case, with free coins and free spins in it. Rain drops in the chat, and Howl.gg posts Flash Codes in the chat and on their Discord, which are short codes you type in for free coins.

The Vault and Rank Rollover are the two you will not find on most sites. The Vault pays up to 1% interest a month on coins you leave in it, although you have to wager the interest once before you can take it out. And Rank Rollover means that if you are already a high rank on another casino, you can send them proof and they match your rank on Howl.gg, so you do not start from the bottom. From Platinum 3 you get a personal VIP host, and Platinum players get monthly and reload bonuses on top.

What happened to the Howl.gg Wheel and Upgrader?

The Wheel and the Upgrader are gone. The Wheel was Howl.gg’s roulette, and the Upgrader let you stake a skin for a chance at a better one. Both pages now send you straight back to the homepage, and neither is in the game menu any more. When we checked, the chat was still asking when the wheel was coming back, which suggests it was removed recently.

Most reviews still list both games, because they were written before this happened. What you get instead is Cubes, a brand new house game, and the rest of the Originals: Coinflip, Jackpot, Dice, HiLo, Mines and Blackjack. If the Wheel comes back we will put it back in this review.

Is the Howl.gg deposit bonus worth it?

Probably not, unless you read the numbers first. Howl.gg offers a 1.5x, 2x or 3x match on crypto and gift card deposits, up to $20,000, which sounds great. However, the wagering requirement depends on the game you play, and in Howl.gg’s own examples it works out to 32.5x, 37.5x or 50x of the balance you end up with. So a 3x bonus turns a $10 deposit into $30 in your balance, and you wager 50 times that, $1,500, before you can withdraw.

While the bonus is active you also cannot bet more than 2% of your deposit per bet, and your rakeback drops to 66%, 50% or 33%. So the bonus is really for people who were going to play a lot of slots anyway. If you came for the skin games, deposit without it.
