The One Thing to Understand First: House Edge
Nearly every "rakeback" program pays a percentage of the house edgeon your bets — not of your wager. A "10% rakeback" on a $100 bet in a 3%-edge game is 30 cents. Edges vary enormously by game (roughly 0.5% on coinflip, ~1% on dice, 3–5% on slots, up to ~10% on case openings), so the same volume can earn twenty times more rakeback in one game than another. The single exception among the sites we track is Clash.gg, whose tiers apply to the raw wager. Keep this in mind every time you see a big advertised percentage.
Site by Site: What Is Actually Published
Duelbits — the most transparent program
Four always-on streams pay 25% of house edge combined: Instant Bits (10%, never expire), plus Daily, Weekly and Monthly Bits (5% each, expiring on their cycle). Level-up milestones add a bonus that starts at 5% and grows +0.25% per level to 12.5% across 31 card-themed levels ($1K to $1B lifetime wager) — a theoretical maximum around 37.5% of house edge, paid as real cash with no wagering requirement. CSGOEmpire — no ladder, fully published rates
Empire skips VIP tiers entirely: a fixed share of house edge funds your personal Daily Cases pool — 2.2% of case-opening wagers, 1.665% of roulette, 0.125% of coinflip and 0.2% of match bets, all published in its help centre. You claim 5% of the pool every 24 hours as a case, or take 90% of a claim as instant cash. Levels still matter for bonus-case keys, but the rakeback math is the same at level 1 and level 100. Clash.gg — raw-wager rakeback
The outlier: tiered rakeback on the wager itself — 0.25% from level 1, 0.5% at level 50, 0.75% at level 150 — claimable daily, weekly and monthly, with 12 free daily cases unlocking between levels 5 and 200. Activation requires redeeming an affiliate code first. The exact percentages only display once logged in; multiple independent sources agree on the figures above.
Howl.gg — one published rate, the clearest ladder
Howl publishes exactly one number — instant rakeback at 5% of house edge, claimable every five minutes — but the most transparent VIP ladder in the space: 26 levels with dollar thresholds from $250 (Bronze 2) to $1 billion (Apex 3), with a monthly loyalty bonus and dedicated VIP host from Gold 1 ($100K wagered). Each rank-up grants a 24-hour Rakeboost from +10% (Bronze) to +35% (Apex). Coinflip, dice and wheel are excluded as zero-edge games.
500 Casino — an official range, private steps
Officially returns 5–20% of house edge, with the rate rising every 100 levels — but the exact steps are not published. Its per-game edges are (cases 10%, roulette 6.66%, sportsbook ~3%, dice and mines 1%). VIP starts at level 500 — roughly $58–66K wagered — bringing weekly reloads and a monthly bonus with lossback, both unquantified. Gamdom, Chicken.gg, Rain.gg — real programs, private math
Gamdom's help centre states its rakeback formula "is not publicly shared" — the only official number is a 15% boosted-rakeback window for your first seven days (code-activated within six hours of signup). Its VIP Club is invitation-only. Chicken.gg computes weekly and monthly boosts server-side from your level and 45-day activity; the "up to 40% rakeback" figures you may see elsewhere are affiliate marketing, not rates. Rain.gg publishes an XP ladder paying free cases, but no percentage of any kind. None of this means these sites pay badly — it means nobody outside can verify what they pay, and any site quoting exact rates for them is guessing.
VIP Transfers: Bring Your Level With You
If you hold serious VIP status anywhere, two sites in our comparison will negotiate: Howl.gg runs a published rank-match program (apply on-site, minimum $100,000 wagered on the origin site — Stake, Gamdom, Duelbits and 500casino are on its preset list), and Duelbits takes applications at [email protected] with proof of level and recent activity. Asking both costs nothing, and a matched rank means starting at the reload-and-host tier instead of grinding to it.
Wager Races: The Other Volume Reward
Separate from rakeback, several sites run leaderboard races. Gamdom's King of the Hill is the largest published program — $100,000 daily across the top 200 and two $500,000 bi-weekly cycles (about $1.1M per month), with points scaled by game RTP and prizes paid wager-free. Empire runs monthly coin races, and 500 Casino's Royale leaderboards enter every bet automatically.
